Off line analysis using Turbomapping of standard bipolar configuration was compared to HD wave algorithm. Finally an Optima PV catheter was then used to check for PVI. A limited PV map is then made using the HD grid to check for isolation. Wide area circumferential ablation (WACA) then performed with a Tacticath force sensing catheter to achieved pulmonary vein isolation (PVI). The Advisor HD grid mapping was then used as a high density catheter in conjunction with the EnSite Precision system to create left atrial (LA) geometry and voltage map using the HD wave algorithm. Femoral access for transseptal puncture performed. Methods: Patients undergoing left atrial mapping for atrial fibrillation were enrolled. The catheter has only been used in animal models previously and we describe the early human experience in mapping complex atrial arrhythmias. The rapid high density points acquisition with the automated HD wave data algorithm, is uniquely designed to automatically assess orthogonal electrogram size and provide more accurate wavefront propagation. ![]() Introduction: The high density (HD) grid catheter with 16 x 1 mm electrodes with 3 mm electrode spacings, is designed for use with the Precision platform to map complex cardiac arrhythmia.
